Safeguarding documents
Safeguarding means protecting an individual's health, wellbeing and human rights; enabling them to live free from harm, abuse and neglect. It is an integral part of how South Cerney Sailing Club operates in providing safe, fun and educational watersports activities for its members and visitors. Safeguarding children, young people and adults is a collective responsibility. Those individuals most in need of protection include:
- Children and young people.
- Vulnerable adults such as those with physical, sensory and/ or mental impairment.
- Any person with a learning disability
South Cerney Sailing Club is dedicated in ensuring that the principles and duties of safeguarding children, young people, and adults at risk are holistically, consistently and conscientiously applied with the wellbeing of all, at the heart of what we do in running the RTC and our club generally.
